Identical Complex Structures In Unrelated Species

The evolution model predict that if similar structures or complex chemical pathways occur in different species, they must have had a common ancestor, however specialized and complex structures are seen in dissimilar creatures.   Ex: Hemoglobin is a very complex structure and should therefore only occur through a common ancestor. Yet it occurs sporadically among invertebrates in no obvious pattern, but with the same structure, complete and functional.
